The Pellet Therapy Workshop is designed to provide practitioners with a comprehensive clinical knowledge of the therapy that is rapidly gaining traction and recognition, through the presentation of scientific reviews, case studies, and procedural training. Dr. Kenneth Orbeck will provide a detailed introduction to pellet therapy, furthered by a review of clinical evidence on the need for customized dosing; additionally, Dr. Orbeck will assess pellet dosing protocols for male and female patients. Compounding pharmacist Anthony Campbell will discuss pellet sterility, equipment, and what to look for in a compounding pharmacy. With extensive experience in devising sterile and non-sterile formulas, and overseeing the production of compounded medications within labs, Dr. Campbell is responsible for helping devise appropriate dosage forms for individual patient needs.

Anthony Campbell,

Anthony Campbell began his career in pharmacy by serving four years in the USAF as a pharmacy technician from 1989 to 1993. Upon being honorably discharged, he completed his undergraduate studies in pharmacy and was admitted to the University Of Florida College Of Pharmacy where he received his Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2003. He has been compounding professionally since 2003 and currently is responsible for devising sterile formulations and overseeing the production and compounding of sterile compounded medications in a pharmacy lab setting, including lyophilization process and cycle development.

Additionally, his responsibilities include the research of drug stability and compatibility of agents within compounded medications to ensure product safety, stability, and effectiveness, and have included the performance of sterility testing and bacterial endotoxin testing. In addition to his employment responsibilities, he serves as a Preceptor/Clinical Assistant Professor to pharmacy students attending the University of Florida, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Nova Southeastern University, South University and Florida A & M University as well as voluntarily serving on the Medical Advisory Board for an all-natural, new-to-market product for the treatment of inflammatory conditions/sprains.

Dr. Kenneth Orbeck practices integrative and functional medicine at his South Carolina-based bioidentical hormones practice: BodyLogicMD of Greenville. Dr. Orbeck dedicates his practice to helping women and men find relief from hormonal imbalances such as menopause, andropause (the male menopause), adrenal fatigue and thyroid disorders, using a three-tiered approach to wellness, combining customized nutrition and fitness regimens with bioidentical hormone therapy.

Dr. Orbeck believes that proper diet, regular exercise and balanced hormones are the cornerstones of longevity. Dr. Orbeck made the decision to transition into anti-aging and preventive medicine, because he wanted the opportunity to spend more time with each patient, in order to address their health and wellness needs from a preemptive perspective. As a bioidentical hormones expert, Dr. Orbeck specializes in treating the underlying causes of symptoms oftentimes associated with aging, such as hot flashes, night sweats, low libido, weight gain, fatigue, mood swings and irritability. Dr. Kenneth Orbeck received his undergraduate degree from Calvin College in 1983 and completed his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in 1987, where he served as Student Chairman for the American College of General Practitioners. Before practicing medicine, Dr. Orbeck fulfilled his Internship at Mt. Clemens General Hospital in 1988. Dr. Orbeck is currently an active member of the fellowship for Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine (FAAFM), and the Age Management Medical Group (AMMG).

Tim Anderson

Tim Anderson,
PA

Tim has had a long career in the medical field. He has been a medic in the United States Army, where he is a Veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm. Following this, he worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at a local children’s hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2003, he completed his life-long goal and graduated with his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from University of North Texas Health Science Center – Fort Worth.

Since that time, he has worked in family practice, orthopedics/pain management & rehabilitation. He has worked in Hormone Replacement for over 3 years in Fort Worth, Texas and Orlando, Florida. He loves being able to have an impact on the overall health and wellness of his patients. Tim was trained and has been inserting pellets for approximately 2 years. He is seeing female and male patients in a clinic in Orlando that focuses on overall wellness from a bioidentical hormone replacement and wellness approach. Tim has been married to his wife Mindi for over 20 years, has two children and a new granddaughter. During his free time, he loves to play golf, go to the beach and travel with his family.
